Chevron presents check to Willa Skinner, Town of Fishkill Historian
FISHKILL – Chevron furthered its long-standing reputation for supporting the local community by presenting two local organizations with donation checks immediately preceding the Citizens Advisory Panel (CAP) meeting at the Slater Chemical Firehouse in Glenham, NY.
Chevron has been a member of the community since 1931 and is currently cleaning up the property on the former Beacon Research Center near the firehouse.
Carla Baker and Mark Hendrickson of Chevron presented Tom LaBarr, Captain and member of the Beacon Sloop Club and Willa Skinner, Town Historian and member of the Fishkill Historical Society, each with a check for $1,000.

“We are delighted to contribute to organizations that are important to the community,” said Mark Hendrickson, Project Manager of the Beacon site. “We know how much it means to them and consider it an investment.” “It’s just one small way we can say thank you and acknowledge the good works these organizations do,” said Carla Baker, Project Manager, Chevron Land and Development.
Over the years, Chevron has provided financial support for many local initiatives and looks for ways to assist communities where it does business.
