Below is a summary of activities during the last month related to the former Texaco Beacon Research Facility.
Environmental Update
Chevron held an on-site meeting with NYSDEC in May to discuss approaches for submittal of the remaining Feasibility Studies and potential timelines for agency review. Work was also reinitiated on the 10-year engineering assessment of the dam. Chevron is planning for additional engineering assessment efforts for the dam in the months ahead.
Real Estate Update
We continue to market the site. Any engagements or inquiries on specific parcels or the entire site remain confidential at this time. There is no additional real estate update.
